Ferry Parking Lot at 6th Street and K Avenue Closed July 31 and 31
The Guemes Island Ferry parking lot, located at 6th Street and K Avenue, will be closed on Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31 for landscaping maintenance. No parking will be allowed in the lot during this time. Please have all vehicles removed by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 29. The lot will re-open on Thursday, August 1.

History of Guemes Island Ferry website.
The website for the Guemes Island Ferry was launched in 2010 on guemesisland.info and later transitioned to guemesislandferry.com in 2016 by Chris LeBoutiller, a resident of Guemes Island. In 2024, Bryan Klein, another Guemes resident, introduced improvements to the Next Ferry time and Image Refresh features. Bryan is currently working on enhancing the website’s performance. The site will continue to be maintained by Chris and Bryan.

Ferry Fueling Schedule
The Guemes Island Ferry takes on fuel every other Tuesday between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. On fuel days, there will be no second or double 11:15 a.m. sailing. Ferry maintenance may be conducted on other days between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. |

Ferry may make one (1) extra trip when overloaded at 11:15 AM, or when there is an hour between runs.

Ferry may make ONE extra trip when overloaded at 11:15 a.m. OR when there is an hour between runs. No extra trips at 6:45 p.m. For one extra trip after the 8:30 p.m. sailing,
the cost will be $120 plus fare. Extra runs after 9 or 11:30 p.m. will be $500 plus fare. |

HOLIDAYS: Ferry will run on a SATURDAY NONPEAK schedule ending at 10 p.m. when New
Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas fall on Sun-Thurs. SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
