Ferry service is back online after being down for a steering issue. Repairs have been made and USCG has cleared us to re-enter service.

Guemes Ferry Service – Sunday, March 19

Last night, on the 8:00 p.m. return trip from Anacortes, the vessel’s steering malfunctioned and the ferry could not complete any runs for the rest of the night. Crews worked late in to the night to troubleshoot and make the repair. We are currently working with USCG (United States Coast Guard) to be cleared to re-enter service. In order to do that, the vessel needs to do a sea trial this morning. If everything is operational, we can resume service. We will keep you posted.
