Anacortes Ferry Dock Broken Water Line

Anacortes Ferry Dock Broken Water Line

UPDATE;

7-19-2016:  At this time, there is a broken water line at the Anacortes dock that requires repair.  Yesterday, crews were able to apply a temporary patch to the line so that the water could be turned back on.  As of today, the restrooms are operational in the terminal building.  For now, we ask that you use the water from the sinks for hand washing only.  We do not have drinking water currently available.

Over the next couple of weeks, crews will be working to come up with a permanent repair plan.  There may be times when the water will be shut off; please watch for signs letting you know when the restrooms can and cannot be used.  Portable restrooms have been placed on the dock in case you need them.

7-18-2016:  Crews are currently working to repair a broken water line at the Anacortes dock.  Unfortunately, for the time being, we are without water and restrooms at the terminal.  Portable restrooms are expected to arrive at the dock within the next few hours.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; and we thank you for your patience as we work to repair this issue as quickly as possible.  There is also a portable restroom located in the Guemes Island parking lot if you should need one.

Sincerely,
